Questions we hear a lot

Straight answers to the things most businesses want to know before picking up the phone.

How much does it cost?

Every engagement is quoted individually as either a fixed-fee project or a monthly retainer, agreed in writing before any work starts. The discovery call costs nothing, and if we don't think the work will pay for itself in saved time, we'll say so rather than quote for it.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope, but most automation projects are measured in weeks rather than months. You'll see something working early because we build in the open, so there's a real thing to look at well before the end date rather than a big reveal at the finish.

We're not technical. Is that a problem?

Not at all, and most of our clients aren't. We explain everything in plain English, and part of every handover is making sure your team is comfortable using what we've built. If a recommendation ever sounds like jargon, ask us to say it again properly.

Are we too small for this?

If manual work is eating hours in your week, you're big enough. Automation isn't just for enterprises. Smaller teams often see the difference faster, because one saved hour a day matters more when there are five of you.

Will it work with the software we already use?

Almost certainly, because that's the point. We build around the tools you already have, such as spreadsheets, accounting packages, CRMs and email, rather than asking you to replace them. If something genuinely can't connect, we'll tell you before any money changes hands.

Will our team actually be able to use what you build?

Yes, and we treat that as part of the job rather than an optional extra. Every engagement includes adoption training: hands-on sessions with your employees, plain-English documentation, and follow-up until your team runs things confidently without us. A project isn't finished when the automation works; it's finished when your people use it.

What happens after the project is delivered?

You own the deliverables, and nothing is held hostage. If you'd like us to stay involved, ongoing support is available as a retainer that keeps things running and adapts them as your business changes. If not, we hand everything over documented and walk you through it.

What if it breaks or our needs change?

Businesses change, and good automation should change with them. Support retainer clients get fixes and adjustments as part of the arrangement; otherwise you can come back for one-off changes whenever you need. You're never locked in either way.
