This page explains, plainly, what cookies this website sets and why. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Why there's no cookie banner

Under UK and EU rules on cookies (the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the equivalent EU ePrivacy rules), consent banners are required for cookies used for analytics, advertising, or tracking, but not for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for, such as security checks on a form you're submitting. This site sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is shown.

The only cookie this site sets

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam-prevention check that tells humans and bots apart without the annoying "click all the traffic lights" puzzles. To do this, it may set a small, short-lived cookie or use similar local storage, strictly to run that check. It is not used for advertising or to track you across other websites. Cloudflare's own privacy practices for Turnstile are described in their privacy policy.

What this site doesn't do

We don't run analytics software, advertising pixels, or social media tracking widgets on this site, so there's nothing else to disclose here. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first and add a consent option before any non-essential cookie is set.

We also honour "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals from your browser, wherever you're browsing from. In our case that has no practical effect, since there's no tracking here to opt out of, but we'd rather say so than stay silent.

Controlling cookies yourself

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings; check your browser's own help documentation for how. Blocking cookies entirely may prevent Cloudflare Turnstile from completing its check, which would stop the contact form from submitting.
